girlish figure is a pop project by nonbinary arist, Ellis Nelson who likes to call it a combination of their “favorite three s’s – sapphic, sexy, and stupid.” These “s’s” are all sonically woven together with an 80s genderbent slant, with beats and melodies influenced by artists like David Bowie, Annie Lennox, and Prince. Nelson’s previous projects have been lauded by the likes of LA Weekly, Magnet Magazine, and WORDKRAPHT.
